All client notes and forms are stored securely on a password-protected laptop and Microsoft OneDrive, which uses strong encryption and secure international servers. Only the therapist (Pooja Chavda) has access.
Email communication is handled via Microsoft Office, which uses TLS encryption for security. Clients are advised not to share sensitive personal information by email.
Session recordings are not made or stored.
Your data is retained in line with BACP guidelines, typically for up to seven years after your final session unless legal or ethical obligations require otherwise.
8. Cross-Border Data Transfers
As an online practice serving clients in both the UK and UAE, some data may be processed or stored on secure servers located outside your country of residence.
This includes storage within Microsoft OneDrive and related Microsoft services. All transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards and comply with both UK GDPR and UAE PDPL requirements.

When payments are made through Stripe, your financial information is processed directly by Stripe and handled according to Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We do not store or have access to your card details.
